Scotiabank President’s Club Whistler Feature Walls

Scotiabank President’s Club Whistler Feature Walls

Scotiabank President’s Club Whistler Feature Walls

Scotiabank engaged MJY Fabrication to support their design and deliver a series of custom feature walls for their President’s Club event in Whistler, BC. The introduction was made through our friends at Holman Exhibits, who referred Scotiabank to MJY Fabrication for the project.

The installation was created as a high-impact brand moment within the event space, offering guests visually striking environments that reinforced Scotiabank’s presence and encouraged guest engagement.

The project required close coordination across design, fabrication, lighting, graphics, logistics, and on-site installation to ensure a cohesive and polished result.

The Challenge

Precision coordination for a seamless, premium brand experience

Rather than a single defining obstacle, the project required careful coordination across multiple disciplines to ensure the final installations felt cohesive, premium, and aligned with Scotiabank’s brand expectations for a President’s Club–level event.

Key considerations included maintaining a high level of finish across all elements, integrating lighting cleanly into the builds, and ensuring the feature walls performed well in person within a busy event environment.

Supportively design and deliver a series of custom feature walls for Scotiabank President’s Club event in Whistler, BC

The Approach

End-to-end fabrication for bold, immersive brand moments

MJY Fabrication handled the project end-to-end, supporting Scotiabank’s design through fabrication, installation, and final strike. Our focus was on creating premium, immersive feature walls that felt elevated, durable, and intentional within a high-profile event environment.

Key considerations included:

  • Creating bold, illuminated surfaces that would read clearly in photos and video
  • Integrating lighting seamlessly into the fabrication rather than treating it as an add-on
  • Using real wood elements to bring warmth and texture into the space
  • Ensuring the installations were efficient to transport, install, and remove

The Build

Where brand presence meets guest experience

Scope of Work

  • Design assist
  • Fabrication
  • Finishing
  • Lighting integration
  • Graphics and print coordination (client-supplied designs)
  • Logistics and transport
  • On-site install and strike

Materials & Features

  • Custom-built feature wall structures
  • Solid red cedar elements for natural warmth and visual contrast
  • RGB LED lighting to create dynamic, high-impact illumination
  • Vinyl graphics provided by the client
  • Integrated display elements designed for guest interaction and photography

The result was a set of striking installations that balanced brand presence with experiential appeal, encouraging guests to engage with the space organically.

The Result

An instant focal point with lasting impact

The feature walls were a standout element of the President’s Club event, successfully driving guest engagement and creating a strong point of guest engagement throughout the evening.

Client feedback was overwhelmingly positive:

“It was FANTASTIC!!!!”

One lighting element on the ski boot wall began flashing prior to the event, which created a visually interesting effect but limited photography in that specific moment. Outside of this, the installations performed as intended and were well received by both the client and event guests.
