Guildford Mall Summer Seating is a two-year outdoor placemaking installation designed to create a sculptural, community-focused gathering space. In 2024, MJY Fabrication worked with Massivart (design) and Charlemain Production Ltd (project management) to refine, engineer, and fabricate the original concept. In 2025, MJY delivered a full turnkey refresh, designing new graphics, re-wrapping, and reinstalling the activation based on updated mall direction.
Across both years, the activation aimed to create a vibrant summer focal point that encouraged visitors to gather, interact, and share the space.
