High-End Custom Manufacturing Company
Custom activations, pop-ups, and event builds, from concept through strike.
Agencies and in-house marketing teams come to us with ideas at every stage. Our job is to turn each one into a physical environment that looks right up close, holds up to public use, and is ready when your doors open.
We’ve built activations for brands like Adidas, Arc’teryx, Red Bull, and Celsius, often alongside the agencies that created the concept. You lead the campaign and the creative direction, while we take care of the physical build and keep you informed at every step.
A strong concept still has to be engineered, sourced, and installed within a budget and a schedule. When you bring us a developed design, we advise on materials, construction methods, logistics, and installation so the finished build matches what your client signed off on. If you’re starting from a sketch, a reference photo, or an AI-generated concept, we can help with preliminary design, material options, and references to comparable past builds, so the vision and the budget line up before production begins.
Activations are tied to launches, festivals, and seasonal campaigns, and those dates rarely move. We confirm a realistic schedule at the start and plan around the details that tend to cause delays, including site access, working heights, permitted working hours, installation windows, and weather for outdoor builds. Where it makes sense, we stage and test components in our shop before they go to site.
For the Smash + Tess “Spring Fling” pop-up at Guildford Town Centre, we turned Monday Creative’s concept into a 20×30-foot branded retail environment in one month, from design approval to opening day.
Our work on museum display cases shapes how we approach every activation. A pop-up may only stand for a few weeks, but visitors still see it up close, touch it, and photograph it. That’s why we choose materials and finishes that read as premium at arm’s length and stand up to crowds from opening day to strike.
Temporary retail environments with fixtures, mirrors, fitting rooms, and premium finishes.
Installations that let people explore a new product and ask questions about it in person.
Branded structures, booths, and entryways for festivals and live events.
Statement walls and backdrops for corporate events and brand gatherings.
Distinctive branded features that invite people to take a picture and share it.
We start with your objectives, audience, budget, location, and timing, plus the experience you want people to have. Site access, event dates, and any plans for reuse are part of this first conversation.
We review your design or concept for buildability and prepare pricing based on the scope.
We confirm the scope, fees, and schedule in a formal agreement. Once it’s signed and the deposit is paid, the agreed development work begins.
Design development and construction drawings are paid services that resolve how everything will be built, finished, transported, and installed. You approve the details before production, and any later changes are assessed for cost and schedule.
We build in our Vancouver shop and share progress along the way. Final graphic artwork comes from you or your client, and we coordinate printing and application.
We deliver, install, and set up on site, then hand the activation over to your team to run. When the event wraps, we handle strike as defined in the scope.
Our brand activation projects generally start at $20,000 CAD. Past projects have ranged from about $25,000 to $300,000, depending on scale, customization, materials, finishes, integrated features, location, and installation requirements. If you’re planning something larger, reach out early so we can talk through scope and fit together. Sharing your budget at the start helps us recommend an approach you can deliver with confidence, and every project is confirmed through a detailed proposal.
We typically ask for at least two months from approved drawings, a signed agreement, and a paid deposit before installation. If the project is still at the ideation stage, plan for three to four months or more. Shorter turnarounds are assessed individually and can require a substantially higher budget.
Leave room in the wider campaign budget for items outside our scope, such as venue booking, promotion, staffing, content production, and event operation.
The pieces produced for us in the event marketing world have truly been show stoppers. MJY was delightful to work with, with excellent communication and a consistent willingness to collaborate.

Both. Agencies usually bring us a creative concept or a developed design. When we work directly with a brand’s marketing team, we often provide more ideation and design support alongside fabrication and installation.
Not at all. Plenty of projects reach us as a presentation or a handful of reference images. Bringing us in early gives everyone more room to resolve practical challenges and make thoughtful budget decisions while the concept is still flexible.
Depending on the agreed scope, we can provide or coordinate:
We can mount TVs, but AV content stays with you, and our team doesn’t perform hardwired electrical work. Depending on the project, we may arrange a mid-event visit for minor adjustments or touch-ups, while significant repairs are additional work.
Yes, as long as reuse is part of the brief from the beginning. We can design bolted connections and components for repeated assembly, so we’ll need to know the intended number of uses, future venues, location-specific requirements, transport arrangements, and where the pieces will be stored between events. We don’t currently offer ongoing storage, although limited short-term arrangements may be possible depending on size, duration, and applicable charges.
We’re based in Vancouver and deliver projects across Western Canada.
